Morning
Woke up at 8.30 this morning and had breakfast which my granny prepared for my family. She cooked vegetarian and it was palatable.
Then, my uncle brought my granny and aunt to tesco, so I just accompanied them. Along the way to the carpark, could see the chattering groups of eager-eyed pedestrians were purposefully heading towards the building. It was extremely crowded inside, and there were babble of voices and squawking radios in the background. Throngs of people were heading for the supermarket and popular bookstore. Don't know why, I did not feel the usual relief of cool air-conditioning inside and smelt the dank sweat of warm bodies pushing ahead in the crowded passageways. At first, I helped my granny to look for a trolley which took me 15 minutes to do so, and then checked the prices of the vegetables for her. When we were about to queue up, I saw snaking lines of people had formed. (impatient and I grumbled) While leaving, my hands were burdened with multiple shopping bags. Urghh!

Afternoon
Finally we were back home, *phew*. All of us were perspiring profusely. In such a scorching hot day, we sank into a state of torpor, and then I took a short nap. For the whole afternoon, I've been watching CSI Miami and Air force one. Did a lil bit of reading and studied some theory as to prepare for my coming exam. Newspapers... and then helped granny in the kitchen. This morning my mom followed a school trip to Johor and will only be back at late night, miss her much :(

Genting Trip

Our school form three students went to genting highland on 26th of October. (Monday) We were on cloud nine and had great fun playing at the outdoor and indoor themepark. All of us, together with some teachers left school at about 8 in the morning. And soon the bus was cruising past some swaying trees, driving up a tortuous road, which made me feel giddy.

After that, we were in the cable car. Although we tried to stay calm but still screamed very loudly cause we were hanging in the air. Our eyes darted around nervously, praying that we could reach the destination safely. We snapped pictures of the breathtaking scenery and some cheeky monkeys. As we got higher and higher, our eyes were brimming with excitement.

At 11.30am, we headed towards the Snowworld which is at indoor. It was -3 degree inside and all of us were shivering. My fingers were numb and I couldn't feel my hand. Then, Kaixin, Kuljeet, Carmen, Oorai and I slided down from the top, our butts were painful but it was really exciting. After 45 minutes inside, we had a sumptuous lunch at First World Cafe. Saw lotsa primary school students from Muar and some other secondary school students. While we were enjoying our food, Kaixin and I saw a form 1 guy who was asking for my friends' phone number. Wowh I thought he was a standard 4 student, cause he looked so small and skinny, but he turned out to be 13 years old.

At 1.30pm, we were finally at the outdoor themepark, *woots*. Shouts of people had mingled with the clang and clatter of a dozen rides, the tinny carnival music blaring from loudspeakers, and the roar of rollercoaster could be heard. Firstly, my friends and I queued up for the pirate ship. It was not scary after all and we still managed to take pictures while it was swinging up and down. Then, we went for Cyclone, which is not as exciting as sunway lagoon's one. While Kah Mun was walking towards us, a whoop of joy escaped her, so delirious with joy she was. After that, Kaixin and I went to play Corkscrew! XD This was my first time. When we were sitting on it, beads of sweat were forming on our forehead and we were openly displaying our uncertainty. Both of us were trying not to scream, so we kept talking non-stop during the ride. Lol. Then we wanted to play spinner, but it's closed. So we headed for spaceshot.

We didn't play much that day because there were only 2 hours for us to play the outdoor games

:( But it was also quite fun to feel the cool air up there. Miss my friends who couldn't make it to genting that day. Will tell you guys more about the trip when I return to school tomorrow kay. That's all for now. Bye.

Still thoughts

Having money doesn not
always bring happiness,
but having a clear conscious
definitely brings a peace of mind.

Tranquillity comes
when the mind concentrates.

Practice being content
your world will become
worry-free.

Don't make light of oneself,
because everyone has
limitless pontential.

By proper and sincere
Regardless of how other malign us
it's our chance to improve the characters
even more.

Hardships and difficulties in dealing with
people and events are a kind of test
They are like a piece of jade that needs
to be polished on a rough stone for luster
to shine forth.

Real happiness is the pure, comforting,
and delightful feeling
that comes after giving
and renouncing.

If you harbor doubts about others,
there is no way you can love others,
forgive others or believe in others.

The future is a daydream, the past is a false
thought
We must protect the mind of this moment
and carefully keep on fulfilling our duties
of this instance.

If you can make good use of time,
you will surely go where
you want to go.

Only when knowledge is
thoughtfully absorbed
can it become your own wisdom.

Only when you respect yourself
can you have the courage
to humble yourself.

The past is gone,
the future is unpredictable.
All we have is now,
make great use of it.

PMR is finally over

Today is the day Today is the day !!! Form 3 students' national day XD
HOORAY !!!

After the examination, we wanted to shout out loud but we didn't,cause teachers forbidded us to do so. We smiled to each other and started talking crap. Some of the students were discussing the chinese paper. My friend and I found out that the front part was even harder than the back part(BC) :(

Today while we were having our chinese paper two, there was something that made me laugh my head off. An invigilator, who is a guy kept smiling at my classmate,Elaine who was busy answering her paper. When she dropped her caligraphy paper,he promptly picked it up and returned it to her, smiling non-stop. Then, before chinese paper 1 started, we kept gossiping about a man who was walking up and down along the corridor, when he walked past, he met Elaine's eyes. Lol. That was the funniest of the day. To be continued...

2nd part

While Michelle and I were on our way home, I started the conversation and asked : 'Hey wanna go starbucks?' She replied : 'Oh anything will do, since we've finished our exam.' Then I asked for my mom's permission, she said : 'Make sure you come back before 6 !' I thought after PMR I will not be restricted, but my mom is still the same, she nags all the time. After changing into our casual wear, we went to The Mall and then to Sogo. FUN !!

Starbucks was so crowded like sardines, we just had to wait for people to leave the place. Both of us ordered Caramel mocha, it tasted so good. Finally... we're able to sit down and relax, yakking about what's happening all around the world. We were like tourists, taking picture of the shopping mall, pet shops, and everything.. LOL.

Here are some pictures :)

In the fitting room, Sogo.

02/10/2009 A birthday message for my brother,
Chua Jean Hong !

"You are a little piece of childhood that can't ever be lost.
You brighten up my life, with memories so fond.
When I reach out, you always respond.

You cheer me up whenever I look downcast or ill-humored,
telling me jokes which doesn’t make sense or illogical."

Thanks for tolerating my eccentric behaviour and always be there for me through the years. Although sometimes you’re infernal.
Everything important that I learned, I have learned from you.
I always enjoy the things we do together (taking videos of funny people)
When done with you, they’re always better.
I’m so thankful to have a brother like you,
There is no other who could fill your shoes.
To a very special brother, with love to you I say.
I hope you have a great birthday, and good things come your way.
Once again, wishing a happy birthday to the one who adds sunlight to my day
The one who gives me happiness, in his own sweet loving way.
Have a wonderful birthday, may God bless you
:)

xoxo,
sister

MAY BE ...

you should dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go, be what you want to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you dream of, and want to do.

we were supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one so that, when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

MAYBE...

It's true that we don't know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missing until it arrives.

MAYBE...

The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past.
After all, you can't go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes,
failures and heartaches.

MAYBE...

You should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human,
and enough hope to make you happy.

MAYBE...

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything,
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

MAYBE...

The best kind of friend is that kind of you can sit on a porch and swing with,
never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had :)
